Need a Study Break? Check Out the Cherry Blossoms.

Those of you hunkered down here in William H. Gates Hall studying for finals may not have noticed that the University's famous Yoshino cherry trees are in bloom.

According to Sara Shores, the UW arborist, the trees were at 50 percent bloom as of March 14, and are expected to be at full bloom during the middle of this week.

You can follow the cherry blossom news on Twitter @uwcherryblossom.

The trees are in the Liberal Arts Quad, which is that big grassy area with all those beautiful buildings that you never go to.  So, take a break from studying and get out there and see the trees!
