TrustLaw Connect

TrustLaw Connect, launched in July 2010, is a feature of the Thomson Reuters TrustLaw site which helps non-government organizations (NGOs) and social entrepreneurs find free legal assistance.

Requests for legal help for individuals or for private litigation matters will not be considered. Instead the service is intended to provide assistance for other projects serving the public good. Among the examples of appropriate pro bono requests are the following:
  • research projects on topics such as human rights, environment, equal rights, or land rights issues
  • advice on governance structures
  • guidance on expanding operations into another country and legal issues arising in a new environment
TrustLaw Connect is currently operating in 140 countries. A list of members is available here.
